This Louis XV style vellum painted (light green shade) commode cabinet has been hand-painted with a design of pink roses on the sides.  There are two oak lined opening drawers, their handles being hidden in the interwoven design of the faux carved gilt ormolu.  The top is hand-painted in light colours to give a faux marble effect.

Each commode cabinet is individually painted, so slight variations may occur in the design.

This Louis XV style manilla painted (cream shade) commode cabinet has been hand-painted with a design of peach coloured flowers and green leaves on the sides and the front.  There are two oak lined opening drawers, their handles being hidden in the interwovan design of the faux carved gilt ormolu.  The top is hand-painted in light colours to give a faux marble effect.

French style Bergere chair, original design attributed to Nicolas-Quinibert Foliot, 1760.
This beautifully styled chair has been painted vellum (pale green shade) and upholstered in blue/gold damask silk. The legs are a cabiole shape with gilt leaf design on the knee,  and the arms are fully upholstered at the sides.  The lovely gilt detail depicts flowers and scrolls in an elegant fashion.
The Bergere chair can be made and upholstered in different fabrics and colour-ways.

Pre Louis XVI style, known as Transitional 176-1775 chaise longue or duchesse.  The original design was attributed to Jacques-Jean-Baptiste Tilliard, and the piece was housed in the Chateau de Versailles
The Louis XV outline is broken by numerous projections bearing garlands of flowers, ribbons and other classical motifs.
This chaise longue has been hand-painted in manilla with gilt detail, and upholstered mainly in a plain fabric with blue floral designed fabric on the head and foot.  This floral design was originally hand-painted by John and then printed by Susan Bembridge Designs.
